Here is Part 3, the closer. Again, this is not wonderfully mixed and there is a hum in the middle section (because my system couldn't handle so many instruments at once). I will need to submix again to get everything sounding correctly and in balance. This mix will still give a pretty good sense of the piece.
Here is an early preview of the 2nd Mvt for PHS 08. The mix is way off still (clarinets too loud through the middle etc..) and some timing bits I need to clean up (particularly at the ending). Download here.
I just demoed a service called Animoto that creates a mashup from selected image and music files. Once you specify the files, you press a button that analyzes the audio file and creates a video from the images. What comes out is an algorithmically created mashup. I found the serendipitous result of this :30 second sample clip set to the music Deep Chill sufficiently amusing to share here.
Pezhead! This is a video from a 2007 show at the Dame in Lexington KY featuring Pezhead and the Blip Squad with special guest and tribal dance legend, Rachel Brice. I'm in the Blip Squad for this show (Mallet Hands). Pezhead is a Dave Farris creation.
I just ran across this clip from a summer 2007 live show at the Peak Summit Festival. This lineup was fun if short lived. I hope to have something from the new lineup before long.
